Amazon launches ‘Flex’, a program for housewife, student and par time job holder  to do part-time deliveries in India

Amazon Flex enables individuals to create their own schedule and earn Rs 120 to 140 per hour delivering Amazon packages.

Amazon India has launched an opportunity for individuals work part-time, creating their own schedule and earn Rs 120 to 140 per hour delivering packages on behalf of Amazon. Called Amazon Flex, the program, Amazon says, works through an app and will create tens of thousands of part time opportunities for individuals to further their earning potential by delivering Amazon packages during their spare time.

Amazon Flex has launched in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi and will expand to additional cities this year.

Amazon entered India in 2013 and delivers to over 99.9% PIN codes. Its catalogue offers nearly 170 million products from over 400,000 sellers. Last year, it boosted its infrastructure (fulfilment centres) by 1.5 times in storage volume to more than 20 million cubic feet over that of 2017Amazon Flex works in concert with the advanced logistics systems and technology that Amazon has been building. Interested delivery partners with two-wheelers can sign up, choose their own schedule, and deliver packages – all using the Amazon Flex app.p

India is the seventh country where Amazon has launched Amazon Flex. It has been operational in North America, Germany, Spain, Japan, Singapore and the UK, where it grew delivery capacity and sped up deliveries for customers.
